I know what it feels like when you’re confused, overwhelmed with advice and information, and scared that you won’t get to experience motherhood. That’s why I made the decision to dedicate my whole career to fertility.
It makes me happy knowing that every day, I help to create life and to make someone’s dream of parenthood come true.
The decision to study Chinese medicine and acupuncture was a return to my roots: I was born in China, and my mother was a Chinese medicine doctor. (She now practices in Charlotte and helps out around the office.) Her work exposed me to medicine from an early age. I remember drinking—shall we say “strong-smelling” herbs whenever I got sick, and despite the lousy smell, they always worked.
With a doctor in the family, I hadn’t considered a career in Chinese medicine until I had to turn to acupuncture and herbology as an adult when I had trouble with my own health. I was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), and I didn’t want to take birth control pills because that was a Band-Aid and not a solution. I also didn’t understand much about the condition because my doctor at the time said “Can’t do anything about it, just ride it out.” Despite the struggles, Chinese medicine worked for me!
After that experience, I knew I’d found my mission to help others, especially women. I knew that I wanted to help them work through their challenges and to achieve their goals with less stress, anxiety, and heartache.
This brings me to you.
To help you get to know me better, here are five fun facts about me:
I’m thrilled to have this opportunity to work with you. I know that together we’ll get there by jumping over hurdles one by one. I don’t believe in infertility. I believe that all women are essentially fertile and that you ultimately have the power to take action, take charge, and become pregnant.

There is nothing more heart-warming and rewarding than to hear a woman say, “I’m pregnant!” after years of trying to conceive.
I didn’t always believe in Chinese Medicine. My great-grandfather was a Chinese herbalist who exported Chinese herbs from China to various countries throughout Southeast Asia. I grew up smelling these bitter herbs cooking in the house but never put much thought into them. It wasn’t until I reached my teenage years and suffered from irregular menstruation and eventually amenorrhea. I was diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) at 19 and the only solution my OB/GYN had was to place me on birth control pills. She also stated I would have difficulty conceiving in the future. That was a huge wake up call for me; I knew there had to be something out there that could help me. Thankfully my aunt introduced me to acupuncture and I was able to kick PCOS to the curb!
After my experience with Chinese Medicine I knew I had to study this medicine and help other women suffering from reproductive disorders. I felt it was my calling to educate women and let them know that they don’t have to suffer from PCOS, endometriosis, painful periods, or infertility because Chinese Medicine can help!
In my spare time, I love spending time with my family, and our 5-year old chocolate lab, Kona. I also enjoy reading and watching crime docuseries.

was told growing up my irregular and uncomfortable symptoms were normal and easily fixed with a pill. I always knew there was another way, a way that aligned with my beliefs and addressed the true imbalance at hand.
While in acupuncture school, I went on a journey to understand my symptoms and with the knowledge from Traditional Chinese Medicine, I began to feel the best I’ve ever felt in my life. I now feel very confident my diagnosis of PCOS will not hold me back from becoming a mother in the future.
My passion is to help you harness your healing capabilities to reach your health and fertility goals- whatever that might look like to you.
